The fact of the matter is that we are all just living, breathing, thinking, feeling, experiencing beings. While we are alive we don’t seem to have a choice in this state of affairs, no matter how difficult it gets. So it follows for me, that its a good thing to be completely OK with whatever this life entails from moment to moment. After all, we have no ‘choice’ to change this exact moment. But, because of so many factors most of us have a pretty hard time feeling OK ALL of the time. For me, meditation, spiritual study, relaxation and remembering give my Self a chance to catch up to that Natural place of Truth in the present moment where being OK is the default and again I’m home; just a living, breathing, feeling, thinking, experiencing being. : ) Peace.

Ever wonder about the toxicity of all the plastics being used as food and drink containers? Here is an image that gives an alright rundown regarding those triangles on the bottom of all food and beverage containers. I see that plastic is a useful temporary drink container, although I believe our bodies deserve nothing but the best; and that means sustainable containers. For now we are gonna have a lot of plastic in our lives and I’m realizing that is alright. There is no reason why we shouldn’t learn about what these plastics are leaching into our food and water though. Perhaps learning that is the first step to creating more sustainable solutions. Here’s to clean water; free for all, and a less ‘polluted’ Earth.
I’ll give my personal perspective on what is best for bottled water as well if you are interested. Reused glass containers you carry in your car and everywhere with filtered or tap water is my top recommendation. They keep your water fresh and reduce waste (C’mon you can do this! :) Otherwise…I don’t recommend drinking water that has been in plastic containers in the heat or sun. Can’t you taste that plastic?…that can’t be good for us. That is why having the glass ones handy is so awesome. Also the thick plastic No. 7 reusable water bottles seem kinda questionable by what I have read. Again, with this I think the amount of time, what temperature it is and the rays of the sun play a role. Anyways I hope you find this info useful. Peace.
Oh and number 4 (LDPE) Low Density Polyethylene Gallon jugs are pretty good if they stay out of the sun. These would work well for storing emergency water in a cool dark place me thinks.
